Using PIA

Are Essential Oils safe to inhale through the mouth?

Yes, inhaling essential oils through your mouth is similar to inhaling essential oils through your nose, the difference is that the aromatized air will travel through your mouth to reach your lungs.

When you inhale through your mouth you will experience the full extent of the aroma in your mouth and throat like a blast of freshness.

We recommend doing the exhalation through your nose but also encourage you to explore. It's also safe to use your PIA inhaling the aromas through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

*Note: Always use 100% pure Essential Oils with your PIA

*Warning: DO NOT ingest or apply the Essential Oils directly to your eyes or skin

Can I use PIA to inhale aromas through the nose?

Absolutely, simply place the opening of the long end of your PIA (not the logo side) against your nostril and breathe deeply. You can close your other nostril with your finger to experience a fuller aroma with your breath.

*Note: Always use 100% pure Essential Oils with your PIA

How long does the aroma last?

When you soak the wick with essential oil the aroma will slowly evaporate as you inhale. We find that two drops of 100% pure essential oil are enough to soak the wick and can last up to 50 full breaths. Once the intensity of the aroma falls below your desired concentration you can simply add more essential oil to the reusable wick.

*Note: Store your PIA inside an airtight container like the box it comes in for the aroma to last longer between sessions.

How do I load my PIA?

1. Chose the 100% pure essential oil you wish to load with

2. Take out the wick holder from the logo side of your PIA

3. Apply 1-2 drops of essential oil to the reusable wick made of 100% cotton

4. Place the wick holder back into logo side of your PIA

5. Take a deep breath through the open end of your PIA, inhaling through your mouth and exhaling through your nose

6. Enjoy

How do I change the wick?

1. Take out the wick holder from the logo side of your PIA and pull out the existing wick from the holder

2. Place the new wick against one side of the holder and hold it with your thumb

3. Swing the loose end of the new wick over the indented part of the holder until it is fully inserted

4. Load the new wick with 100% pure essential oil and place the holder back into the logo side of your PIA

*Note: Always have a wick on the holder before inserting it back into the logo side of your PIA for it to stay in place.

What should I do if I lose the wick holder?

Each wick holder is unique to the PIA that comes with it. If this happens, contact us through our Contact Us Form and we will give you a discount for your replacement PIA.

Each PIA is unique and varies in diameter between our carefully chosen design specifications.

All PIAs are proudly made by hand in Villa de Leyva, Colombia, with local organic bamboo.

Do you offer FREE Shipping?

Yes, we Offer FREE Shipping for all orders delivered to Canada, the United States, and Colombia.

For orders shipped to international addresses (outside of Canada, continental US, and Colombia) we offer a standard international shipping option that will be quoted during checkout.

Warranty and Returns

What is the Warranty on PIA Products?

We guarantee all PIA products from manufacturing defects for 90 days from the day you receive your PIA.

If you want to make a Warranty Claim, please send us a message through our Contact Us Form along with your order number and we will get back to you with the instructions as soon as possible.

If your PIA arrives damaged from shipping, please contact us  immediately and include your order number.

Can I return my PIA?

Returns are accepted on products that are still in their original packaging, are unused/unopened and are within 30 days from the original date you received your order.

Due to the nature of the product, we do not accept returns on products that have been opened/used.

If you want to initiate a return for your unopened product, please reach out to us through our Contact Us Form with your order number and we will send you the instructions to proceed with the return.

Can I get a refund for my PIA?

While we believe that you will love your PIA, if you are not satisfied with our product you can request a refund by initiating a Return Request within 30 days from the date you received your order.

*Note: Shipping related fees are non-refundable.
